The Kellogg Institute Postdoctoral Visiting Fellowship 2027-2028 is inviting applications from outstanding early-career researchers conducting international research on global democracy.
Hosted by the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame, the fellowship supports newly graduated PhD scholars by providing dedicated research time, academic resources, mentorship, and opportunities to collaborate with leading researchers and practitioners from around the world.

Fellowship Expectations

Research Residency
Fellows must remain in residence at the Institute throughout their fellowship period. Extended absences require approval from the Director.
Research Presentation
Fellows must present their ongoing research at least once during their fellowship.
Academic Participation
Fellows are expected to:
- Attend weekly seminars and lectures.
- Participate in Kellogg Institute events.
- Engage with visiting scholars and faculty members.
Publications
Fellows are expected to publish research completed during their fellowship and acknowledge Kellogg Institute support in resulting publications.
