About the Assignment
The position is located within UNIDO’s Division of MSME Competitiveness, Quality and Job Creation and is connected to the Quality Infrastructure component of the TIGARA project.
TIGARA is funded by the European Union and supports efforts to strengthen cooperation among Egyptian SMEs and the private sector, improve market transparency and competitiveness, modernize national quality infrastructure and support digitalization.
Key Responsibilities
The successful consultant will support data management, monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities.
Key tasks include:
- Maintaining TIGARA project databases, activity trackers and monitoring files.
- Collecting and consolidating project data from staff, experts and service providers.
- Conducting data-quality checks for completeness, consistency and accuracy.
- Tracking project indicators, including sex-disaggregated data where applicable.
- Maintaining supporting documentation and evidence for activities and indicators.
- Maintaining activity and beneficiary records.
- Preparing verified M&E data, indicator figures, monitoring tables, pivot tables, charts and dashboards.
- Supporting other data management, monitoring and reporting tasks.
- Preparing a final report covering activities completed during the assignment.

- Experience with results-based management, logical frameworks and indicators is an asset.
- Experience working with beneficiary/activity data is desirable.
- Experience with UN agencies, international organizations, government institutions or EU-funded projects is an asset.
Language Requirements
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
