What the WBG Young Professional Program Involves
Young Professionals join the World Bank Group on an initial two-year contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
During the program, participants complete three eight-month rotations. These include a rotation in their primary area of expertise, a cross-institutional rotation and at least one rotation based in a country office.
The YP Academy also provides structured development through technical and operational training, language programs, negotiation and business skills, leadership development, coaching, mentoring and strategic discussions with senior leaders.
