Medical health insurance coverage is mandatory in Switzerland. Interns are responsible for arranging their own health insurance before starting their internship.

The programme also covers economy-class travel expenses to and from Geneva and provides additional financial support toward health insurance costs.
Eligibility Requirements

- Be a national of a WTO member state or a country involved in WTO accession negotiations
- Have completed undergraduate studies in a relevant discipline

- Have completed a postgraduate degree within the previous two years at the time of selection
- Be at least 21 years old at the time of the internship

China WTO Accessions Internship Programme

Applicants must have completed undergraduate studies in a relevant discipline such as economics, law, political science, or international relations and completed at least one year of postgraduate studies. Candidates must also be no older than 30 years old.
