Boston City Campus Offers Bursary Opportunities for New Students

Boston City Campus has opened bursary opportunities for students who need financial assistance to start, continue, or complete their higher education qualifications. The bursary programme is available to new students who are not yet registered as well as existing Boston students who require support with their study fees.

How to Apply for the Boston Bursary

Applicants must apply at the Boston City Campus Support Centre where they intend to register.

There is no standard application form. The Support Centre will advise applicants whether online applications or physical submissions are accepted.

Applicants must submit:

  • A copy of their identification document
  • Their latest school or tertiary academic results

Application Periods

Boston bursary applications open twice every year.

Semester A Studies

Applications must be submitted between:

1 November and 30 November of the previous year

Semester B Studies

Applications must be submitted between:

1 May and 31 May of the same year

Late applications are not accepted.

After submitting an application, applicants are responsible for following up with the Support Centre to check whether their application was successful.

Important Bursary Conditions

Applicants should take note of the following conditions:

  • Applying does not guarantee bursary approval
  • Only one Boston bursary may be used per semester
  • Bursaries cannot be transferred to another person
  • Bursaries cannot be exchanged for cash
  • A new Boston bursary cannot be used to settle outstanding fees
  • If a successful applicant does not use the bursary, it becomes invalid
  • Additional study costs remain the responsibility of the student if the qualification costs more than the bursary value
