Eligibility Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled in the third year or final year of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Be enrolled in a Master’s, PhD or equivalent programme
  • Have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree within the last 12 months

Additional requirements include:

  • Excellent written and spoken English or French
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of office software
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits and Important Information

UNESCO internships are not paid and do not provide financial compensation. Interns receive limited workplace insurance coverage and leave benefits during their placement.

Selected interns are responsible for:

  • Obtaining required visas
  • Arranging and financing travel
  • Providing valid medical insurance
  • Submitting required documents before starting the internship
