Stripe Software Engineering Internship 2027 Offers High School Students 12 Weeks of Real Project Work

Vacancy checked 5 October 2026. Stripe’s Summer 2027 software-engineering internship is a specific pathway for high school students graduating in 2027 or later. It is selective and looks for substantial evidence of technical ability.

Placement, pay and eligibility

The programme requires 12 consecutive weeks between May and August 2027, working in person in San Francisco or Seattle. Shorter placements, remote attendance and breaks during the programme are not offered. Students must meet local minimum-age and work-eligibility rules by the start.

The internship-specific pay is $60 an hour. The annual salary range appearing elsewhere on the careers page should not be interpreted as the total internship payment.

What applicants should submit

Interns contribute to real engineering projects. Stripe seeks evidence such as ambitious software, research or open-source work. The application asks for a CV or short technical summary and one or two strong work samples. Explain the problem, design decisions, your contribution, testing and lessons learned. Transcripts and test scores are optional.

Read the official Stripe high school internship listing and apply through its form. No fixed closing date is confirmed here.

Make your project evidence easy to assess

Choose finished work that a reviewer can understand quickly. Start with a short description of the problem and provide a clear way to inspect or run the project. If a demo needs an account, explain what the reviewer can see without sharing private credentials.

Be precise about collaboration. Say which components you built yourself and acknowledge contributions from classmates, mentors or tools. Strong evidence does not require pretending that a group project was individual work.

Before applying, confirm that the full programme fits your school calendar and that you can meet the attendance and work-eligibility conditions. Do not assume that an offer would include relocation or immigration support unless Stripe confirms it. These are editorial preparation suggestions; the official listing controls eligibility.
