Overview
Royal Holloway is offering two GREAT Scholarships for taught master’s study beginning in January 2027. Each award reduces tuition by £10,000: one is designated for an eligible applicant from India and the other for Nigeria.
Who can apply?
Applicants must both hold a passport from India or Nigeria and reside in the corresponding eligible country. They need an undergraduate qualification, must meet the university’s English-language requirements, and must hold an offer for a full-time master’s course. Recipients also have ambassador and networking responsibilities.
What the award covers
This is a tuition reduction rather than a fully funded study package. Applicants should budget for costs beyond the award. It cannot be combined with another Royal Holloway scholarship.
Deadlines and application
Submit the course application by 9 November 2026. The scholarship deadline is 15 November 2026 at 23:59 UK time. Check the university’s scholarship instructions, then use its applicant login to follow the required process.
Important distinction
This call concerns the January 2027 India and Nigeria awards. It should not be confused with the September 2027 Türkiye opportunity, whose application call was not yet available when this article was prepared.
