What graduates can learn
Rotation areas include application development, commercial embedded IT, enterprise integration, market data and cloud-related projects. Training, a mentor and a buddy support development.
Who can apply
The programme lists degrees in IT, mathematics, engineering or similar numerate disciplines. Read the individual advertisement for detailed requirements, salary and work-authorisation conditions; eligibility is not identical across countries.
How to apply
Use RWE’s official programme page to select an open vacancy. Selection includes an online test, recorded video interview and assessment centre. Apply early because dates may change. Candidates may progress with one graduate programme per recruitment cycle. RWE allows AI-assisted preparation but asks applicants not to generate their answers with AI.
Make your technical evidence understandable
Our application advice is to choose a project you can explain from beginning to end. A small, well-understood application can provide stronger evidence than a long list of technologies you have only briefly tried. Start with the user’s problem, then describe the solution you built and why you chose that approach.
Prepare an example of debugging. Explain the symptom, how you narrowed down the cause, the change you made and how you tested it. If a team produced the project, distinguish your contribution from the shared result. Be ready to discuss a design decision you would change with more time or better information.
Check any portfolio before sharing it. Remove passwords, access tokens, private customer records and confidential material. Add a concise README explaining setup, dependencies, limitations and what a reviewer should try. A working demonstration and clear instructions make your evidence easier to assess.
Before submitting
Confirm that the selected office and start date suit your circumstances. Save a copy of the advertisement and your application, and check your contact details and attachment filenames. Ask the recruitment team about any unclear requirement instead of assuming that one office’s conditions apply to another. Treat this article as a starting point: the live employer advertisement controls recruitment.
