Education researchers can apply for DAAD support towards Moi University’s Master of Education in Research in Eldoret. The 2027 scholarship call closes on 12 November 2026 at midnight CET.
Funding package
The monthly allowance is €400 for In-Country scholars or €500 for In-Region scholars. Tuition support, a €460 yearly study/research allowance and €400 thesis-publication contribution are included. Travel and health insurance apply to In-Region recipients only.
Support is limited to 24 months and reviewed after the first year. Awards depend on available funds; some institutional fees, examination repeats and fee increases may remain payable.
Academic requirements
Applicants need a three/four-year Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with at least upper-second-equivalent results. They must be sub-Saharan African nationals/permanent residents, meet the language requirement and have completed their latest degree within six years. Prior DAAD master’s scholars are ineligible for further master’s funding.
