Background & Job Description
The Desk Coordinator will support Relief International’s efforts to secure funding for humanitarian and development programmes across multiple country offices.
Working with Desk Managers, Country Offices and technical teams, the role supports donor engagement, strategic positioning and business development across European donors, US Government donors, UN agencies, foundations, corporations and other institutional funding partners.
The role also coordinates proposal development from opportunity identification through submission.
Tasks
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring donor trends, funding opportunities and strategic priorities.
- Sharing funding intelligence and positioning opportunities with country and headquarters teams.
- Developing concepts, pitches and funding approaches.
- Leading and coordinating proposal development processes.
- Organizing proposal design workshops and consortium development processes.
- Coordinating internal proposal reviews.
- Supporting Country Offices with donor requirements, proposal development and budgeting.
- Facilitating go/no-go decision-making processes.
- Maintaining funding pipelines and opportunity tracking systems.
- Strengthening country team capacity in programme design and proposal development.
- Supporting donor submissions and online donor platforms.

Qualifications
Education and Certification

Experience
