Programme guide, checked 1 October 2026. RSM US describes internships that combine practical experience with guidance from professionals and leaders. Its internship page highlights assurance, tax and consulting career routes and explains how a performance advisor supports interns through advice and mentorship.
What the programme offers
Interns can gain hands-on experience, participate in formal and informal training, and join inclusion and community-service activities. The employer’s programme page also describes opportunities to learn about industries and specialisms. Published intern accounts illustrate client exposure and work with engagement teams.
Successful interns may express interest in becoming campus connectors who help with campus recruitment. This is a separate opportunity, not an automatic full-time job offer.
Who should consider applying?
Students interested in professional services can use the programme overview to explore the type of work they want to try. Eligibility must be assessed against a specific vacancy: this general page does not establish one degree subject, graduation date, GPA threshold or sponsorship policy for every internship.
Before applying, check the listed academic requirements, US work-authorisation conditions, office location, start date, expected working arrangements and compensation. An internship in another RSM member firm is governed by that firm’s own recruitment requirements.

Make the advisor relationship useful
If selected, begin with two or three learning goals: for example, understanding a client workflow, improving spreadsheet accuracy or communicating findings clearly. Ask how feedback will be given and which assignments could help you work towards those goals.
For your application, choose examples that show your own contribution to a project or team. Explain what you did, why you chose that approach and what changed as a result. Keep any confidential client or employer information out of your examples.
